Kindness Foundation Initiative recognizes The Dre Project as one of the most genuine and impactful non-profit organizations in metro Detroit area The DRE Project founded by Jennifer Jackson officially launched on January 4, 2021, with the aim of bringing light and positivity to the world one meal at a time.  The Dre project is a nonprofit organization based out of Michigan which brings home-cooked meals and groceries to families facing hardship in Metro Detroit area has been a great source of purpose and healing in her own life.

The idea for The DRE Project came because of the devastating loss of a sister. It is less ironic, and more by design than it has become the catalyst for the development of strong sisterhood bonds as charity has grown. The outpouring of help from empathetic, talented, diverse and awesome women has been remarkable. 

Clean Carwash, Personal chefs, attorneys, web designers, Entrepreneurs and copywriters are just a few of the professions that have graciously donated their time to make The DRE Project reality.  Because of this, we have been able to fulfill another need that we did not foresee: the empowerment of women who are providing their talents and time to make the world a better place.
